I'm fairly sure it's illegal, or at least not allowed by MLS rules to co-broke different amounts on your listings to different brokerage firms right? Basically, you can't single out a discount broker and co-broke less commission to them. For example, you co-broke 3% to everyone except Discount Realty LLC, whom you offer only 1% to.
I've read on various forums online that apparently some MLS systems allow this, but only if you privately notify the person of the unique amount you are co-broking them. Supposedly this avoids the appearance of a group boycott? That can't be legal.
