  • Why is flat fee MLS listing not immediately posted?

I just purchased the flat fee MLS listing for NYC plus submitted my listing details. I’d like to list immediately, so folks see our listing and come to our open house tomorrow. What time can you have it life on RLS, NYT.com, and Zillow? Again, I’m hoping you can do it immediately.

    What’s a e-flat fee listing agreement?

Sorry - have it *live*? I thought when I submitted it would list immediately. Please get it listed ASAP. Thanks.

I didn't see "2 business days" on your site. Sigh. Any chance you can get it listed today? Please? ;-)....

Hi elie_p, thank you for your patience! We will make sure to send you the flat fee e listing agreement later today, but we do need two business days I’m afraid once signed.

However, this is actually the best course of action we believe. It would be highly confusing to de-list your current FSBO listing, and have downtime before the new listing goes up. It might confuse people around your open house, and it would be too little notice on the open house for the new listing. We recommend getting this up after you’ve removed your FSBO listing and had your open house!

        Thank you!

Sorry, I’m confused. Could you please call me? We want to sell our apartment ourselves; we’ve sold other properties and are confident we can sell this one. We’re not interested in engaging a sell-side broker.

We do want exposure, which is why we signed up with you. So that’s all we need to have you list us on RLS, NYT.com, and Zillow, correct? We’re already up on Streeteasy.

I wish you’d sent your email sooner, then I would have signed up sooner and gotten exposure for our coming open house. But do it goes. If you can find a way to get us up at least on the RLS today, we’d be so grateful!

Hi elie_p, one of our sales specialists will be giving you a ring first thing in the morning when we're back in the office, thanks for your patience!

In the meantime, please feel free to take a look at https://www.hauseit.com/fsbo-nyc/ which explains the Agent Assisted FSBO (aka flat fee MLS listing) product you are inquiring on. It’s different from a traditional FSBO which you are doing, but more effective :-)

If that’s now what you had in mind, we are happy to provide you with a full refund. Thank you!
