Is it necessary to get a home inspection by an engineer or licensed home inspector when buying an individual condo or coop apartment in NYC? What if you're buying a townhouse?
I understand that it may make more sense for free standing property. But are there any cases for individual condo or co op units where it makes sense to hire a home inspector?
